The exchange of knowledge within the CNAI depends directly on the network’s activities. The CNAI encourages and facilitates interactive exchange between organisations in the network as part of its active exchange of knowledge service.
A community of practice (CoP) brings together people facing similar challenges, who are ready to learn from each other. This type of community can be seen as an organised group of people with a common interest in a particular subject. Its aim is to exchange information, develop know-how and make an active contribution to broadening general knowledge in the field of AI. This approach includes informal meetings, information sessions, seminars, conferences and hackathons.
Anyone interested in AI or who has knowledge in this field can register with the CNAI’s growing CoP, and follow the webinars in the Data Science and AI for the Public Good series, organised by the Data Science Competence Center (DSCC).
Regular meetings, internal to the federal administration, are organised within the scope of the Community of Practice for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DS&AI CoP). As soon as possible, we plan to expand the CoP and to organise other meetings enabling all stakeholders to discuss topics relevant to them, even at international level.
The CNAI also supports the Plateforme Tripartite for digital governance and artificial intelligence in Switzerland (admin.ch), which promotes an open and inclusive dialogue to bring all stakeholders together and gives all interested parties the opportunity to take part in discussions on the topic of AI.
Community of Practice for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DS&AI CoP)
The Community of Practice for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DS&AI CoP) is part of the federal data science strategy, and was set up by the Data Science Competence Center (DSCC). This community of practice brings together people working with data science methods and AI within the federal administration to offer them a constructive space for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
